Connections: Health • Wellness • Advocacy is able to provide programs and services because of the generous financial support of donors throughout our community. We need your help to guarantee that we will continue to be here. Your tax deductible gift will support the following:
- Treating individuals with mental illness and substance abuse;
- Providing medications for those without insurance;
- Counseling to women with postpartum depression;
- Transportation (in-house vans / public RTA);
These are just a few of the vital services we provide. You can help make this possible. Here are some ways you can participate:
The Circle of Friends - established to provide funding to help children and adults receive treatment for mental health disorders. In 2004 Connections provided treatment and services for almost 6,000 individuals. A pledge of $10 or more each month for one year will make you a member of The Circle of Friends. You may make your contribution monthly, quarterly, or annually by check, Visa or MasterCard, or Electronic Funds Transfer through your bank.
The Society of Friends - The Society of Friends was established to honor individuals who name Connections as a beneficiary in their will or estate plan, or establish a planned gift to benefit Connections. Planned giving offers donors the opportunity to maximize tax advantages available for charitable donations. Individuals who advise Connections of their plans to include us in their will or estate plan will be listed as a member of The Society of Friends in the Annual Report, and invited to an annual reception for benefactors.
To learn more and how your donation will help, and to make a donation contact Kathleen Gustafson at 216-831-6466 ext 265.
NOTE: Connections is not engaged in rendering legal or tax advisory services. For advice or assistance on your specific case, the service of an attorney or other estate planning professional should be obtained.
