NORTH EAST OHIO HEALTH SERVICES (NEOHS) CHANGES ITS NAME TO: CLEVELAND, OHIO - JUNE 1, 2007 North East Ohio Health Service (NEOHS), the largest mental health services provider in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, has changed its name to Connections: Health • Wellness • Advocacy. Connections more accurately reflects the agency's purpose to enhance individual and community health by offering a comprehensive, cost effective, integrated system of care focusing on behavioral health that promotes wellness, healing and quality of life. Connections will host an open house on June 19th at the agency's new location, 24200 Chagrin Boulevard in Beachwood, Ohio to celebrate the name change. "Our new name reflects the agency's focus on health, wellness and advocacy," said Dr. Roknedin Safavi, President. "Connections is a name that can increase our exposure and enhance our commitment to the community." Since 1969, Connections: Health.Wellness.Advocacy has been dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and chemical dependency, as well as advocating on behalf of patients and their families. Annually, Connections serves approximately 5,500 individuals and families.
