Research:

NEOHS conducts several studies with medications that sometimes are not available anywhere else.

Currently, we are looking for individuals that may have a diagnosis of:

  • Alzheimer's Disease
  • Dementia
  • Forgetfullness
  • Depression
  • Sadness
  • Schizophrenia
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Substance Abuse

If you are experiencing any one of these symptoms or others please give us a call and see if you qualify. Most of these studies will offer free office visits and free medications The studies can offer compensation for your time and travel as well.

NEOHS and Case Western Reserve University Department of Psychiatry continiue their collabrative study of the impact of psycho educational interventions on treatment attitudes and adherence in patients diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder and their families. Preliminary, three-month data indicates significant improvements in attitudes and beliefs impacting long-term recovery. Continuation grants are being pursued with the Woodruff Foundation.

The CATIE Project continues with funding appropriations from the Ntional Institute of Mental Health. The potential applicability to over seven million Americans affected with Alzheimer's disease and/or Schizophrenia is being assessed.
